Mr. Nongolougo Soro is a Telecom Network Engineer graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada with a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering both in Electrical Engineering with a major in Telecommunications. He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston in Chicago suburb, IL, USA. He also holds a Master of Science in Electronic, Electrotechnics, Automated Systems and Computer Science from Université d’Abidjan – Cocody (current Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny) and a Baccalaurate E – Maths and Technology from the high school Lycée Technique de Bouaké.
He started his career as a Software Engineer in 1996 with the Operation Research Center of Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal. In 1997, he joined Motorola, Inc in Schaumburg, in Chicago suburb, in iDEN Network Systems Division (iDEN - Integrated Digital Enhanced Networks). In iDEN, he held the positions of Systems Engineer from 1997 to 1999, Senior Software Engineer from 1999 to 2001 and Senior Staff/Lead Engineer from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, he was promoted to Principal Staff Engineer in Motorola Public Safety Applications Division, a division that designed public safety software applications for government agencies in US and around the world.
In 2009, he joined the Private Wireless Broadband Division of Motorola Solutions, Inc. as the Portfolio Manager of the radio access network for LTE and WiMAX for government agencies in US and around the world. He assumed that position until he was hired by Deloitte on behalf of the Prime Minister Office of Côte d’Ivoire to lead SNDI, Société Nationale de Développement Informatique, a state-owned company that plays the role of IT Department for Ivoirian Government.
Since October 2011, Mr. Soro is the Chief Executive Officer of SNDI. After taking office, Mr. Soro reorganized the company, defined a new vision based on the Government’s vision for 2020, and put in place consecutive three years based strategic plans that today have positionned SNDI to foster efficient e-government in Côte d’Ivoire by designing, deploying and providing innovative IT solutions and services to various government agencies nationwide. He achieved a strong financial profitability for SNDI after one year in office, from a challenging financial state. Since then, he has maintained that strong financial profitability for the company. Finally, he built a business ecosystem of public and private companies around SNDI to strengthen its competivity in Côte d’Ivoire and in West Africa. He has received several awards and distinctions in Côte d’Ivoire and abroad for the great performance of SNDI under his leadership.
Mr. Soro is also a Member of the Board of Administrators/Directors of Agence Ivoirienne de Gestion des Fréquences Radioélectriques (AIGF) since May 2013, a Member of the Board of Administrators/Directors of QUIPUX Afrique since May 2015 and a Member of the Scientific Counsel of Ecole Supérieure Africaine des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (ESATIC) since May 2015.
